One of my favorite authors of all time is Leo Buscaglia. His books always remind me how to and inspire me on how to be a better, kinder, more loving and more forgiving human. One of my major life inspirations.

@MeaningfulSilence1. what's your favorite book and why? The Count of Monte Cristo by Dumas. It was beautifully written. The main character had so much inner strength and never gave up. And the ending was a surprise to me.

I don't have one favorite, but The Decameron by Boccaccio was the last great book I read. It was a blast.
* what are you currently reading?
I'm reading a book for male survivors of childhood sexual abuse. It's the fourth book I've read on the subject. Looking for help, but this book is not much help. It's called "Joining Forces: Empowering Male Survivors to Thrive". The author, Howard Fradkin, holds weekend retreats for male survivors. They bond and share their stories. I'm not interested in bonding with other men like that. The two good books I've read are "Men Too: Unspoken Truths About Male Sexual Abuse" by Dr. Kelli Paley and "Beyond Betrayal: Taking Charge of Your Life After Boyhood Sexual Abuse" by Richard B. Gartner, Ph. D.
There was another book on the subject I read called "Sexual Assaault of Men & Boys: Sexual Abuse Awareness, Healing Journey of the Masculine". It's not very good. There's some good information in it here and there, but it goes into some very flighty passages. The author's name is not on the book.

This particular book I'm reading hasn't been much help yet, but the two good books I mentioned in the previous question helped. They kind of provided moral support and such things.

* what's your favorite book and why? The Language of Flowers, by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. It's about someone who finds her purpose despite a multitude of obstacles
* what are you currently reading? The Midnight Library, by Matt Haig
* what did you learn or what did the book help you with? I read for pleasure and to feel emotion through the characters, I don't really expect to learn from the books I choose to read.
