Happy Easter
To those who observe Happy Easter. Do you have a special Easter memory that you would like to share.
I have an Easter memory. One year I was the Easter bunny 🐰 in the mall. I sat there all day to take pictures with children. It was so hot in that bunny uniform!
Haha, an Easter memory...
When I was about 10, I participated in a community Easter egg hunt. I found one of the two "special" eggs. One special egg entitled the finder to a basket full of candy and toys. The other special egg entitled the finder to ... a real, live, rabbit. I went home with a real live rabbit. Fortunately we already had a real, live rabbit at home, and so we were at least somewhat prepared for it. What we weren't exactly prepared for is that our pre-existing bunny was a boy, and the new one was a girl. Soon we had something like 12 more real live rabbits!!

The church service at midnight which starts in the dark, then in the morning, the altar and apse overflowing with lilies and other flowers, all the linen and vessels cleaned up, the hymn singing.... and the return of the church bells.
