Be happy

In today's generation, I have come to realize that staying happy is a skill. Don't get me wrong, we battle with situations every day, and how we tackle each situation shapes our happiness. It's completely normal to have these episodes of sadness, they create awareness of where we are and the situation we are in. But what is not right, is having these episodes frequently, because they become normal, and then give way to other uncomfortable thoughts and as you know we become what we think. Soon we become a shadow of ourselves always miserable. This is an encouragement for us to prioritize those precious moments that make us happy all time.

Hiya @Lifeiseasy237 nice to meet you!

Quite insightful about happiness and the ups and downs of our emotions. It’s empowering to realize that happiness can be nurtured like a skill!

Our daily experiences do shape how we feel, and just being aware of this is a huge step toward making positive changes, I feel.

It’s completely natural to ride the waves of emotions, including sadness too though. Acknowledging those feelings without letting them define us helps us build resilience. I totally get that cycles of sadness can be tough to break, and it takes effort and practice to shift that pattern. But that's also what we can work on together as a community here! 🥰

While acknowledging all emotions and making space for all of them as they come, making a little extra room for joy in our lives is quintessential too, I feel!

I talked to a friend after some time, and it was nice catching up, laughing on silly things and just being there for each other.  🥰 What made you feel joyful recently?

@Lifeiseasy237

Thank you for this thread. I agree with you about staying happy is a skill. When we are overwhelmed and sad for a long time, we can forget how it feels to be truly happy. One of the ways I try to keep up my happiness and also train my brain to feel happy is doing one thing every single day that I enjoy, something I look forward to. How about you?

Awesome. 🙂. I do same, I engage in activities that make me happy or I associate with things that motivate me.

Yeah it's a skill. The way you process the world around you determines your happiness. I usually feel forgiving others for their errors and forgiving your own self is a great recipe for happiness. Second thing is being content with your circumstances - be grateful with whatever good you have- hold onto it tight.
