This os an off-putting topic though inevitable.  Having worked for a hospice program in my area for 7 years I learned a lot. In the billing department you could see it is mostly medicare driven. Then working in the social work department I could see the care given. There are two books I can suggest, Peaceful Dying by Daniel R Toben and Karen Lindsey. I found this book to be very comforting. The other is Nothing To Fear by Julie McFadden, I have not read this one but understand it is comforting as week, the author is on social media known as Hospice nurse Julie with a huge fan base giving informative information.  I hope this helps all who read this.

This is a good question branch! Mortality affects everyone, but not everyone wants to hear or even express their thoughts about it, so thank you for this post!

I know that I will not live forever, so for me it's really important to make the best use of the time I still have by living mindfully and not rushing through the days like I did when young. I don't want regrets in the last moments of my life about not having been present in life but having let it "slip through my hands." At this time, I feel much more alive than I ever was. I also feel that when the time has come, I can go in peace. I did what I wanted to do in life even if it was connected to hardship and sometimes even great obstacles but at least, I can say I tried and that gives me peace.

We face it by accepting God in our life knowing when that timecomes we will be in a place of peace and eternal love

@Denise60

Sorry, don't mean to pry but is that a recent change, I struggle with spirituality but am always questioning how i feel about it, it just hasn't resonated for me despite seeing merits in doing so 🙁

@MaryNeal. It definitely a difficult thing to deal with. I say affirmations to help me accept it and tell myself that it’d going to be alright.
