Practising patience as we grow older

As we grow older we are making many compromises and accommodate others and our patience begins to grow thin. Our tolerance levels for things like discipline, courage and emotional energy. When we get older we try to stay away from drama and gossip. These are to things we begin to lose our patience over. By listening to others we lose their issues which will lead to conflict. 

People who can keep their time or break promises to you are not your effort. We look to find those who have time for us without broken promises. We want others to be there for us as we would be there for them.

The power of hope - goal setting 

As we go into a new year some set resolutions or goals to improve or better ourselves. Setting goals differ among us, some goals others may not see it working for them which is fine not every goal is the same for everyone or how we do the goal setting is the same. 

We all hope for things and hope is more than wishful thinking. There are 3 essential elements to goal setting determination, a specific element and concrete steps to maintaining the goal.

Ways to improve our mental health and live a better life

Self-care is often misunderstood. Self-care when thought out can improve our mental health. Mental health includes our psychological and social wellbeing. Many things play part in our mental health genetics, life experiences and family history.
