New to group, hi guys!
Hello everyone! I'm new to this group. I'm not yet 50, I'll be 49 in April, but I was hoping to find people closer to my age to chat with.
I'm married (22 yrs), and don't often feel like I can talk to my husband about a lot of things. He's 'not good' at dealing with emotional stuff or mental health issues. So I keep a lot of things inside and paste on a smile for the sake of my family.
Just looking to make some friends and lend an ear when I can. I look forward to interacting with you 🙂

Hi there, nice to see someone with my similar thoughts. My partner isn't good with emotional support either. Sometimes it's real lonely because I've got some heavy stuff no one wants to hear. But anyway welcome I hope 7 cups is as great for you as it has been for me.

I will offer my friendship as well. Its lonely out there when you just want to talk about whatever is going on and not be judged. My son and husband are not talking to each other that is a hard one to deal with.Staying out of it and yet my heart hurts

Hi There!
I am looking for friends too as well. I am 52 been married 32 years. I really don't have anyone other than my counselor to talk to once and sometimes twice a month. My mom offers her unwanted opinions or advice , husband is seeking counseling and I realized recently he is not capable right now to be emotionally supportive as he his working through his childhood traumas etc. I will offer friendship with no judgement :)
