@Lauren63 I am sorry that you do not feel supported here. I wonder if you would reconsider condemning the subcom in the forums.
You told us of your background of being neglected by your family and so not getting immediate attention is probably very rough for you to handle. I feel sad that you are not happy here. I am wishing for the best outcome for you.

Lauren, not feeling accepted is such a terrible feeling, we are here to support you and want you to feel safe, loved, accepted. I am so sorry that you feel like an outsider, you are important. We all have our individual personalities and struggles too, I hope so much that you find the right group here.
@amiablePeace77 Are you able to be part of the discussions? I am not. That was one of the reasons I wanted very much to be here. The 35 + chat room is locked unless you have so many badges or whatever. I dont want to talk to teens. They have no idea what I deal with. 50 + do. I am at a place that I just wanted to be understood. And no I didnt need it instantly. Do not assume that. But you only get 1 chance to be at the beginning of something. I was trying to do that. You all in the discussions are getting to know each other. That is great. That was what I was trying to do. I hope everyone here now has an idea of me. Sorry to be so off putting. I have a horrible temper. And I am alone. I only wanted to be a part. From the beginning. Sorry for going on. I am going to cry now. Gotta go.

I just joined this month. I was hesitant to, as I'm under the targeted ages but some in this community were really welcoming. I found due to illness my body felt like it aged fairly rapidly within a few years. So in some ways I can relate to this age group on particular topics better than to some my own age. On other topics I might be learning more than relating. Hopefully there will be some who are patient if I have questions!
