Throughout life I think what we seek changes and evolves over time. What once was an evening out maybe a concert or show. Later in life attending medical routine appointment and going for coffee is now the new norm. The small and bigs ways we enjoy being social when we do errands and shopping 🛍️ that we add on while we out. And we are happy to do it lol 😂
The cost of living becomes a factor even gas for out of town errand it is an opportunity to do something else.
Do you count errands as social outings in the scheme of your week? Do you add on and add coffee or lunch to such an outting? Does this add moments of JOY in your days??

No, I usually don't count them as going out. I usually just throw on something comfortable, don't care about how my hair looks, and dash. But, there are rare days when I feel like dressing up for errands, just because I want to look pretty.

Yes I am like that too pretty much however I have super long hair and I don’t do much with it so no work to it other giving it time to dry lol 😂 but I do put little make up each day not like date nights of course …. Totally depends on who when and where and how you are feeling ..,
I am retired as is my nesting partner hubby so we usually add onto those errands days with lunch and walk and it feels date ish lol 😂

Since my partner has anxiety of me leaving the house, I usually count those as social outings along with an in real life class.

I try to be social while having lunch out, to a reasonable level. The waitresses/waiters are busy, so I can't talk to them much.
