Did you ever meet people asking you tips for your wisdom and experience?
Hello everyone!
Let's say that this thread is not meant to label anyone or to discriminate anyone's age but I would just focus in positive aspects of elder people, because yes, I like to see the positive in everyone! For that reason I had the following thoughts and questions I would share with you.
Elder people can have a lot of wisdom and experience and it may happen to have people that ask them for tips or suggestions
Did you ever experience to be asked for help that way?
Who do you like to support the most?
Do you think it is positive to exchange what you have learned and your reflections about life?
..... did you ever enjoy and appreciate an elderly's wisdom yourself?

Hi beyond, how are you? Thanks for this interesting post.
Did you ever experience to be asked for help that way? Yes, sometimes.
Who do you like to support the most? People who for some reasons cannot help themselves enough.
Do you think it is positive to exchange what you have learned and your reflections about life? Yes, for sure, because if we all share our experience/knowledge with each other we make life easier for everyone, it's a win/win situation.
..... did you ever enjoy and appreciate an elderly's wisdom yourself? Yes, my grandma had always words of wisdom but also other people being much older than me.
It happens occasionally, I generally don't say too much as I find that most people generally don't really seem to inclined to listen to uncomfortable truths.
@DaveMcGrath
Occasionally Dave, sounds good ... quality vs quantity i suppose

I try to live by the idea of not asking questions unless I'm willing to hear an answer I know I'm probably not going to like.
@BeyondTheInvisible nice to look to people who have experienced much of life's lessons. Great checkin.
Did you ever experience to be asked for help that way?
Who do you like to support the most? I like to help people find a way to help themselves that works for them. That is the greatest thrill for me.
Do you think it is positive to exchange what you have learned and your reflections about life? I think sharing is a great way to learn from each other's experiences.
..... did you ever enjoy and appreciate an elderly's wisdom yourself? I used to love to hear the stories of a retired school teacher talk about life and its possibilities. It opened up my eyes.
@soulsings I, too, enjoyed listening to my elder teachers talk about the "old days". Now I know that the old days weren't that far ago
