Those are all awesome. What do you do to Volunteer?
@DanaMH my main volunteer work is here at 7 cups. I'm in the middle of the internship. Plus we volunteer at a local food bank whenever we are not in the road,and hubby and I regularly have charity loads in our tractor trailer to deliver to wherever they need to go.

Learned to sail, met my (now late) wife, had a kid, many good jobs, learned lots of computer skills, met the new woman in my life. Really, most of my life has been pretty good. Lots of good memories. The bad ones only stand out because they are rare.

Sorry for your loss. Those are all great and learning how to sail must have been hard? It looks hard in the movies I watch. Glad to hear your bad things are rare.
Thanks, @DanaMH. Actually, learning to sail was pretty easy, as I learned it a little bit at a time. Today I am having a bad day, maybe it will be better tomorrow.

Sorry to hear that you are having a bad day. I hope things get better for you. Maybe you can do some mindfulness. I am helping Ami with a Mindfulness discussion at 5:30pm EST today if you want to attend that. Another thing that my therapist has been telling me is do a lot of mindfulness like get a leaf and use your 5 senses with the leaf. You can also do this with food or anything else that you can dream up.

Getting my zen teachers, finding my husband, many careers, having my own biz, helping many people, experiencing the love of pets, winning hackathons, travel to amazing countries, camping trips and 7 Cups.

Those are all great. We like to go camping on the beach (Ocean) the most because sometimes we go fishing and crabbing also. However, I like to go shopping while they go out more since I think it is boring when the fish aren't active.
@DanaMH Most of my camping is in the mountains, but shore sounds fun.

We used to snowmobile a ton when we were younger up in the mountains. We would love Spring break, Thanksgiving and Christmas time since there was a group of us would travel and sometimes to different states to have extended time playing on all the fresh powder. I think the best trip was to Yellowstone with all the cool animals however the buffalo are stubborn there and don't get off the path and you have to wait for them. I don't like the smell of the geysers thou which smell like rotten eggs.

I drove by the university on my way buying groceries, and it was the first time seeing the college grounds being so full of students sitting on the grasd enjoying like it was spring.

meeting my man was the biggest amazing positive thing that came in my life and i am deeply greatful . I love my new life with him in it .i am not in contact with people who didnt love me or accept me anymore .I love the freedom to choose who i want in my life and who i dont want that isnt supportive .And i love the freedom to make my own choices and not care what others may say about me .And I have come so far and have grown so much over the years .
