Accepting Applications For A New Role - Community Safety Coordinator
Hi All -
As many of you know, Kate & I are both full time and work regular business hours. We work hard to make sure the community is as safe as possible and we will continue to do that. Part of making the community safe is on-the ground support, being present, monitoring, supporting and de-escalating active safety concerns as they are happening. To this end, we are looking to add 2 part time contractors to provide additional coverage for both the adult and teen communities during times when Kate & I are not usually online. One individual will work in the evenings during the week, while the other will work both days on the weekend. Of course, Kate and I will still be around and willing to help with issues as they pop-up, but we are hoping these individuals can provide more on the ground, proactive support during the designated time slots.

And just to be extra super duper clear - Neither Kate or I are leaving our roles. We are both 100% committed to working with you all. We look forward to having extra hands on deck to ensure safe participation.

This is great to have more help to support you and Kate in your roles, I do know how hard it can be to manage so much with little time you have. I would be happy to help but i still feel that i have some more growing and learning in me before i take on a role like this or i would jump on it. Im glad to see you both reaching out for help, cant wait to help lend a head in to help our newer Safety Coordinator. And build up more on 7Cups as a Stronger support system
