February 2016: New Ambassadors!!!
It is with great pride, that I would like to welcome 5 new ambassadors to our team.
We should all be very proud of the individuals on this list, please join me in giving this group a round of applause and welcoming them to their new roles!
@Pat - Quality Ambassador
Pat has been a community member with us for a while. But recently, Pat has been working on the quality mentor track, adding more structure, leadership and training to it. Specifically in the quality coaching and listener guide project. Since he has started, these projects have seen great growth. It has been wonderful to watch him work with the quality mentors, train them, build relationships and be a supportive voice to his peers. He has worked to increase the visibility of these project so that we can see measurable gains in listener quality. Pat has an attention to detail, knowledge of analytics / data and most importantly, a love for improving listener quality. We are excited to see what you can do with listener quality and continue to watch him thrive in this new role.
@MissZ - Chatroom & Group Support Ambassador
It is with great pleasure that we will have MissZ join our Ambassador team. Missz has been a staple in our community for a very long time and shown great love for 7 Cups and our mission. Many of you have gone to MissZ for help and support and she has shown all of us love, kindness and good judgement. We have loved watching her participate in the community, support the chatrooms, lead the depression support team and help support mods and mentors in their roles. She is a leader to all of us. Despite her strong knowledge of the community, she continues to learn and grow, gaining new skills which embolden her further. Thanks for all you do Z, we are thrilled to have you in this role!
@Amelia - Community/ Growth Ambassador
Ahh Amelia, the lovely Amelia! I think your fingers may move just as fast as mine! I am excited to give you the role of ambassador. Since starting at 7 Cups, you have taken it under your wing! You have ran towards all the challenges and been an active force in adding structure and love to all of the projects you have helped with. You have shown time and again a love of 7 Cups and a willingness to dive in, especially when things are hard. I appreciate your drive and grit. You have the awesome ability to help people develop leadership, listening and life skills. In this role, we look forward to continuing in these support roles. You are a jack of all trades and we are happy to have you. We are excited to have you join our community as an ambassador.
@JaceofSpades - Chatroom Ambassador
It is with great pleasure, that we will be asking Jace to be a chatroom Ambassador. Jace has show incredible growth since joining the community over a year ago and it has been incredible to watch. We are very proud of her. She walks towards challenges and is fearless in her pursuit of personal growth. She shows everyone she talks to love, dedication, support and kindness. She has solid judgement and an open mind to hearing feedback. Her peers look up to her. Additionally, she has proactively taken ownership of many community projects. Specifically, in quality and chatroom mentor tracks. In this role, she will continue to take more ownership of the chatroom mentor track, so that the 7 Cups chatrooms continue to be full of love and support. Go Jace go!
@Lee - Community/ Growth Ambassador
Lee is a kind, peaceful, knowledgeable individual who brings a supportive, proactive approach to problems and community projects. Since joining 7 Cups, Lee really "got" it. She dove right in and made this place her home. Some of the items she has worked on include: a plan to transform the growth mentor track (details to follow), she has lead badge campaigns encouraging us all to earn new badges, she leads listener twin (one of my favorite projects on 7 Cups :D), she helps with a group support team, leads discussions in the listener chatrooms.. the list could go on. Her impact is very special on 7 Cups and we are very lucky to have her in our community in this new role. As an ambassador, she will continue to help with the CM acct, help in the growth mentor/ community mentor track, move forward with the listener twin project and be a present, joyful member of the community! Lee, we are honored to have you on our team!

I have to say, this is a group that when I look at, my first thought is "How were they not already ambassadors!" because each and every one of you is such a clear choice in my eyes.
@Pat - You never cease to blow me away with how much you do here, but what I think is even more important is how consistently you preach the message of self-care, from including it in your QM trainings to reminding people 1-1. You are a role model, and visionary, and a leader and the advancements made in quality under your watch are nothing short of incredible!
@Lee - Your dedication to 7 Cups is evident in everything you do, and you have become such a force for good on this site. You listen with such a gentle ear and care deeply for this community, from members to listeners and beyond, and that shines through. You are a style icon for me and always look so cool, but more than that, you are a truly beautiful soul, and we are lucky to have you!
@Amelia - We joined at a similar time, and right from the second I saw you in the forums, I knew you were something special. From the get-go, you have integrated yourself into the community and gained the highest level of respect from everyone. I rarely see someone greeted so fondly in every place she goes as you, and that's a testament to the love you pour into this site and the love coming right back towards you. You are a role model for me and I can't wait to see what's next for you!
@JaceofSpades - Seeing you in a chatroom is like having the sun come out on a rainy day - you are such a positive and loving force and that shows in your every interaction. The dedication you have shown, the compassion you have shared, and the relationships you have built are at the highest level, and quite frankly, 7 Cups would not be the haven it is without you!
@MissZ - I was scared of the chatrooms for a long time because I didn't know if I belonged or if I could contribute. But from the first time I stopped by LSR through every other time, you've been there, being so welcoming, so helpful, so funny, and so kind. To me, you are the epitome of what it means to be a listener, a moderator, and a mentor, and I think it shows in the respect you have from all who pass through LSR. You are the type of mentor I strive to be. And the only one among this group who hasn't changed their name, so extra points for not confusing me! :)
