Transition in the Teen Community
Hi Community,
The teen community has grown by leaps and bounds through the years and 7 Cups is looking to dedicate higher level of resources to further evolve the community.
Iara, who has been contributing part-time to the community, will be leaving the role. We want to extend our thank you to Iara for working with the teens at 7 Cups. She will always be a cherished member and a friend to so many on 7 Cups.
We wish her the very best with her continued schooling and pursuit of becoming a successful lawyer! Please join me in saying goodbye and sending best wishes for her successful law career.

This breaks my heart from top to bottom. Iara was someone safe to go to, especially for the teens!! She was so hardworking and put her all into what she has done for the teen community and community as a whole from the very beginning. She has been such a sweet presence and person to all of us. I wish her the very best in all that she does for her future. So much love for her!!

...it is really unsettling that all of the community managers are being removed without you having found a replacement for them.
like i think i understand that you're looking to fill these roles with full time, proper positions? i hope.
but what you have now is a lot of very scared people who have had the people they've always been able to rely on taken away from them and have been given no idea of what's to come ;~;'
please clarify this ASAP

Iara you are an awesome person and ALWAYS will have it engraved with the teens as well as some of us oldies. For whatever reasons you have to step down..........know that you ALWAYS will have a place here with many. Be proud of all your hard work and commitment to the teens and also us oldies that came over. No matter who they hire, it will never take your place.

@Iara my heart broke into pieces. It pains me to see you go. Much of my success as a Listener and as a leader (on and off 7 Cups) is because of your guidance, support, and care. I will forever take your expertise and leadership skills with me throughout life.
I wish you nothing but all the success that the world can offer you as you go out into the world and kick butt as an attorney. However, I hope that you don't forget about this little community of teens on the web who love and care about you.
Although we don't want you to go, we know that you need to focus on your education so that you can be the best lawyer ever. I hope that you come back and see us every once in a while - we'll definitely want to know what you're up to.

@iara Wow. I'm speechless, this made me speechless. My heart is grieving with so much sadness, god, I couldn't put my emotions into words. I'm so sad to see you go, Iara. I've just been here for a year but I'm glad that you became part of my listener journey here on 7cups. You're my go-to person, you're my rant buddy, because you always have made me feel heard and understood. You've also trusted me and believed in me with my potential and capabilities and didn't think twice to give me the role of PA for teen subcommunity. It would be so selfish of me to stop you from going but god, I promise I'm not crying and will be happy for you. I just wish you all the best with your future endeavors and successes. Please take care of yourself and remember that you'll be missed as our teen CM and you're always welcome here in the community just like how you made us feel welcomed and supported.*hugs*
