Sharing positivity!
Hey Everyone!
Positivity is something you can never have enough of and is so beneficial for our mental health. Postivity is not something that is always easy to have so lets help eachother out and spread postivity!
Share here something positive that has happened to you recently, if you would like tag a 7 cups friend so they can also read it and hopefully spread the postivity as well!

@blitheEmbrace27 I was on my evening walk and passed a couple that I've passed a few times. They're friendly. We usually say hello to each other and keep walking opposite directions. Last night the man asked me how I am. I told him fine and asked how he was. He said good and we kept walking. It was just a nice, positive interaction with basically strangers.
@purpleTree4652 That's so nice! It's always nice to feel seen and heard even if it's by strangers. :)
@DearDaphne Sharing positivity with you, as how an amazing friend you're!
@Anexmos Ahwww first thing I see so kind <3

I received some uplifting comments this week and though it is hard to believe them, it did feel good and just letting them sit and marinate instead of push them away.

@Containedchaos This is also something I am working on too! It can be so difficult to accept compliments when you may not feel that about yourself. I'm glad to hear you received compliments!
@LoyalLiz
We can work on receiving compliments together :-D
@Containedchaos Sounds good! :D
@Containedchaos I always make an effort to accept a compliment even if I dont feel it's true. I do this to appreciate the person trying to lift me and my heavy emotions up. Just knowing that they're trying to compliment you might be a reason in itself to cheer up.
@Nowan15
Very true, I am working really hard on accepting them. When I give my staff compliments and they push it away. I always tell them I am handing them a gift and they are giving it back. It works, I just need to do the same for myself. <3
I hear you! Accepting compliments is also very hard for me! But I hope you believe others when they say you are awesome ❤️ @Containedchaos
@blitheEmbrace27
Working on, everyday I am working on it. <3
@blitheEmbrace27 Love this! <3 Something positive is that for the past few days I've spoken to my dad over the phone and he sounds... normal? He sounds a lot calmer, and even nicer. His moods and behavior can vary, but even my partner noticed it today too. So that's a nice change for once! lol
At the moment, I have TWO positive things to note, if that's okay as opposed to just the one. :3
1) Seeing the shout-outs I made on the 7cups Happy Thanksgiving 2020 forum, and receiving shout-outs of my own in response from some of the people I tagged. Spreading the love, gratitude, and compassion back and forth feels gooood.
2) I've been monitoring a friend on their SH, and in turn, they're monitoring me on my suicidal thoughts. Both of us might be feeling out of it, but not out of it enough to stop watching each other for our respective safety.
This is random but I found some pretty frangipani flowers outside today, like a bunch of them. I recently discovered that they grow in front of my house but I didn't expect so many to fall (due to strong winds). I gathered some and took them with me. I've been feeling pretty great ever since. I was feeling pretty low, but it's crazy how these flowers really brightened up my mood. They always make me extremely happy because I have a nostalgic connection with them, so they mean A LOT to me ♡
I'm tagging @JainAviral , you deserve all the positivity for being such a strong and cheerful person. I hope good things happen for you. Take care and stay safe :3

My story of positivity: I came on here as a member, having some trouble connecting and being lonely. I met a listener who changed my life! She ecouraged me to become a listener too and she is still right there along the way. I was nervous at the beginning but I worked through my nerves and helped one person by just listening and caring. This was only three days ago when I became a listener. I love it! It has given me purpose! Thank you so much @KindnessMatters2020. You have helped improve my life just one conversation at a time!
