What is your favorite smell and why?
Hello everyone !
We all have experienced the nice sensation that comes from a smell : it can be the smell of a cake, a flower or something else. Sometimes it reminds us about something we experienced but it can be also just pleasant in itself.
What is your favorite smell then?
Mine is the smell of wood because it reminds me a warm pretty house with a fireplace in it!
the smell of potatoes that are cooking... hmmm!! at this time i am waiting for them with impatience

I like vanilla, lavender and others aromas for soaps too!
Vanilla extract. By itself its amazing but microwave it and it smells like freshly baked cookies. :-)

The smell of cookies baking is pretty hard to beat. Also scented candles are quite nice too!

I was encouraged to come over here by @BeyondTheInvisible since I mentioned perfume in my introductory post.
Some of my favorite perfumes are Lady Gaga's Eau de Gaga (leather, lime, woods), Estee Lauder Le Rouge Gloss (leather, cherry, vinyl, rose), Al Rehab Al Sharquiah (oud, rose, incense, dates), Etat Libre D'Orange Rien (suede, incense), Rihanna Rogue (suede, plum, vanila), and Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege (an old favorite with lilac and fruits that I actually used up a couple years ago!)
I really like the smell of leather and wood. Going into a home goods store is one of my favorite things.
Perfume is often a means of self-expression for me. I couldn't imagine wearing the same thing all the time, because it's usually an extension of my mood. I like scents that aren't explicitly within the lines of men's or women's as those are marketed nowadays.
