Peppermint sticks.
During my career as a ballerina and performer, there was an old-fashioned sweet shoppe just a few minute’s walk from the theater that I’d be dancing at every Christmastime. In-between shows, to get a sugar boost, I’d sprint from the theater to the sweet shoppe to get myself some peppermint sticks to munch on.
The real kicker?
The boy who would become my best friend, of whom I now live with thanks to him helping me escape my abusive family, worked at that very same sweet shoppe during that exact same time I was a ballerina. We were crossing paths even before we got to formally know each other in college.
You might say that peppermint sticks hold a special place in my heart because of this knowledge. ❤️🤍❤️🤍❤️
Bimbo glazed cinnamon roll, they are so good, reminds me of eating them in winter hanging out with My brother, or cousins
