Welcoming Kate to our Community Management Team!

Hello 7 Cups Community,

As many of you know, Heather recently moved into a new role at 7 Cups. We have been hard at work reviewing candidates to replace Heather.

I am very excited to announce that Kate (@Lovelyllama13) will be joining the Community Management team. Previously Kate worked at the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) coordinating their volunteer HelpLine for over 4 years. Additionally, Kate did a great job building up the NAMI sub-community over the summer. She joins us with a passion for community building and supporting those impacted by mental illness. In addition to her work with 7 Cups, Kate is a Program Manager with This Is My Brave, a mental health nonprofit dedicated to fighting stigma through storytelling. She is kind, compassionate and hardworking! We are excited to have her!

Over the next few days and weeks, I encourage you to pop into Kates PMs and say hi! She will spending time getting to know you all, participating in the chatrooms and exploring the community!

Teens, get excited!! Till @iara is back, she will be on special assignment with the teen community. She will be working to support the teen group rooms. Additionally, she will be working with our group mod Ambassadors to support the group support mentor track. We will all need to support Kate as she moves into this role.
