What is that one relationship advise which can make your relationship last longer?
Relationships often seem perfect in the beginning. Then something happens. What is it that one advise which you would like to share with us....

Accept each other's flaws. Now don't confused crossing a line with flaws. Two different things!
But I often see ALOT of people complaining how their partner isn't what they wanted to. I mostly see this in females but I think is because we grow up with serious wrong ideals of men to be fair.
Either way just accept each other. There is no prince charming and there isn't no princess.
Not all guys are romantic, not all girls are needy , and so on and on
Basically don't rely in streotypes of relationships and realise we're all different
@Booklover95
Woah Book. Really realistic advice. Thats true. We should accept our flaws and here I'd quote that appreciate ones similiarities and respect the differences. :) Thank you for such a lovely thought. Yay!

never go to sleep angry and without saying goodnight,
@MistyMagic Yes. This.
Even if it's an angry goodnight, at least show you still care enough to swallow your hurt pride and show love in the simplest way.
@Akshita0612 I would say compromise, you have to give and take. Agree to disagree, sometimes they can have a say and other times you can. Relationships are built on trust and talking and expressing oneself 50/50 striaght down the line, trust one another and you'll be just fine.
@MelanieDaniels63 50/50 concept that's great. It helps in maintaining a balance in the relationship. Completely agree with you
@Akshita0612 Thanks so much, yea if my relationship advice helps anyone out there that needs it, I am glad to be of some help. Thanks for the comment and kind words have a great day/night!
@Akshita0612 Be honest. No matter how hard or hurtful the truth is, just go with it. If you lie once, you will have to lie again, and that builds up a terrible web that can destroy your relationship.
@Akshita0612 Do not listen to relationship advise from other people. Like each human being is unique, each couple is unique. What works for you, works for you and may not for someone else. Paint your own story in your own style.
@SarahSG88 Agree with your point Sarah, every human being is different and so are the relationships.
@SarahSG88 I completely agree with you, Sarah. Every couple's relationship is unique, and so advice that worked for one couple may not work for every couple. Very good advice!
@Akshita0612 respect people' s boundaries. This helped me build a longer lasting working relationship with the current counselor/therapist I work with.

Hello! :) I'd like to point out two things that you don't often hear in relationship advice: expectations and attitude. These two come hand in hand I believe. The easier one to explain would be expectations: I think problems result because of missed expectations, and both people's attitudes towards this (and towards each other/the relationship in general). About this "general attitude" towards each other and the relationship, what I mean is this: how do you see your partner, and how do you see your relationship? Again, this ties with expectations. An example of a common and unhealthy attitude is when people expect their partner to always make them happy. This is unhealthy because your partner can't always make you happy, the same way you can't. We are all imperfect, and we will all fall short.
With my boyfriend, we try to make our relationship healthy by seeing each other as partners who are constantly learning and growing through life together. So whenever someone makes a mistake, we learn from it (ex. how could we avoid it next time, what can we do about it etc). When we have missed expectations, we communicate (*and communication is also very important by the way!)
trust! :D
@SmilingCamel55 And most recently with a dear, dear friend of mine: trusting that they trust you! Man, that's hard ...
@Akshita0612
Trust, loyalty, commitment, able to compromise, put another person's needs ahead of your own, mutual respect, opening up to one another even about those smallest things, accept the other imperfections and love them for it. No relationship is perfect, but you can make it special and grow something beautiful together.
dont force it to stay longer if it shouldnt -
