Hi 7 Cups members! I made a similar post on the listener side over the summer and I wanted to share it over here with our wonderful members!

MAKE THIS PLACE YOUR HOME
A home is a place where you go to feel safe. A place for connection, love and kindness. A home is a place of salvage, support, freedom, safety and encouragement. Its a place where experimentation is encouraged and supported. It's a place that houses a family.
There are many types of homes but 7 Cups is a unique kind of home. A home many of you may have never encountered before, a home on the internet.
From the moment I started my involvement with 7 Cups, I knew our community was special. In order to make this place your home, you must be open, willing, loving and kind to all you encounter.
From the forums, to group support and all the unique listeners you have met in your 7 Cups travels, it is clear that our home has many unique expressions of love.
Like any home or place of refuge, there will be bumps along the road, challenges that come up. You will need to be vulnerable and open at times, possibly in ways that may make you uncomfortable.
-----> Decide how you will find yourself here and take ownership of that. Explore, try new things, take this as an opportunity to find and be best version of your self.
-------> Now if you are feeling down, don?t know what to do, here are some ways you can make this place your home:
- Press connect now and see who finds you
- Wonder the forum for a few hours
- Get to know another member in group support
- Take the 7 Cups compassion course
- Reconnect to a listener you haven?t talked to in a while
- Write a forum post describing how you feel this moment
- Give feedback in the member suggestion box
- Go through a help-guide in detail
- Join a community twitter chat!!
- Pledge yourself in front of the community!Take the member oath
- Take an hour to listen to the 7 Cups podcast!
- Proud of yourself ? Let us celebrate you!
- Don't be afraid to do the hard emotional work

Above all, lean on our community. We are a team, a family and a unique group of minds all working towards our shared goal of a better future for ourselves, our community and the world.
Well this is how I really feel about 7 cups . Home sweet home. And I'm a permanent resident. I see so many ppl who comes for a short while but as for me I am living here lol. And I always say in the depression support room that this is my living room :) I spend hours here and I just feel safe as long as I am on it. Reading forums and writing. Connecting with listeners and members. Listening to 7 cups utube channel. Browsing listeners. You are my real family and I am happy to belong to this family :D

@Laura Thank you for sharing this on your last weekly update. I have been on 7Cups for a few months now and just kind of roam around. I love the Path and try to be part of the forums but was looking for a way to real get/give more form/to this community. These suggestions give me a great starting point!
