Academy Awards Feb 2024

Hi everyone! I hope you are doing well. It is time to announce the Academy Awards. These are all the nominations we received since our last post. 

Academy awards are an acknowledgment initiative to honor those who consistently provide support to academy trainees. All academy leaders, including project agents, academy mentors, mentor leaders, and ambassadors can be nominated. We have also included academy graduates, and trainees/interns in this category of people who can be nominated. The condition is that you must have been supported by this person in your academy journey to nominate them for the award and they need to be associated with the academy.

Yourbuddy30 

• Buddy has helped me through the internship and the listener development program. He definitely has my back on everything!!!
• Whenever I had a question, they were super helpful and detailed in their responses! They took the time to explain the program to me. I was a little confused at first, but they were able to clarify everything for me. They were super kind and nice too!!! 
• @yourbuddy30 is the epitome of dedication and service towards a community. They have been very timely, articulate, kind, and patient in their responses to me. When training me as an internship mentor, @yourbuddy was always enthusiastic to ensure that I understood and had all my questions clarified. They have been informative and provided educational resources when helping me in the LPD program. I want @yourbuddy30 to be recognized for their selfless work and outstanding service to the 7 cups community. 

SirenOfSerenity

• There was only 1 cup listed beside Siren's name and there's no way that can be right. Siren is absolutely amazing and goes up and beyond in all that she does. Who cares if it has been almost a year since I graduated from CDM. Siren was the one who was there for me and the one who gave her time to help me with things I needed. It was Siren who would host in the room and I would literally show up just to support. Siren deserves more than just one cup. Almost a year later and I am still so grateful for all that Siren does to help others. She definitely deserves to be awarded the Academy Award for all that she does and gives herself to help others. <3

• Because they were encouraging me through the whole process and with my disability, it's a lot harder to complete test, but they were very kind

• They are a straight shooter, no nonsense. They do not cause there to be any confusion about how to go about 7 Cups new leadership steps. They are a great mentor. Also, they are very compassionate, patient, and empathetic as well.
