Building Community Requirements Update: Course load reduced

Hi everyone, A few days ago we rolled out a survey to get feedback on the building community program. After reviewing your responses we have reduced the course load. The following updates were made.

Removal of the following tasks:

✫ Required weekly sub-community workshop

✫ Required 3 key things thread posting (No longer required but still encouraged)

Reduction of work

✫ Weekly forum posts reduced to 18 a week from 24 a week. (If you do more, the hours will be added to the certificate.

✫ Weekly group chats changed from 5 a week/sub-com workshop a week to getting the Tiny Chat (20 Listener group support chats) OR Sparkler badge ( 20 member group support chats). Trainees will need one of the above badges at the end of the program to graduate.

✫ If you a member then you are required to have the Group Chatter badge (20 member group chat)

After these changes, the course load has been reduced to approximately 4 hours a week.

As with all academy courses, if you already have the badges required for the program then you will start the program with those badge requirements done.

If you are a trainee who has been doing sub-com workshops the hours will be added to your certificate after combining with the forum work hours.
