What's a small act of kindness you were once shown, that you'll never forget?

I was out in the Pacific Ocean, struggling to keep my head above water. The waves were relentless, and I was getting exhausted real fast. I honestly thought I was a goner. But then, out of nowhere, a total stranger appeared. He saw me struggling and didn't hesitate for a second. He swam towards me like a champ, battling the waves like it was nothing. I could see the determination in his eyes as he reached out and pulled me to safety. I can't even put into words how grateful I am for that kind-hearted stranger. Seriously, I owe him my life. If it wasn't for his bravery and quick thinking, I wouldn't be here telling you this crazy story. It just goes to show you that there are some seriously awesome people out there. I'll never forget that act of kindness, and it's inspired me to be a better person too.

I was feeling really devoid of hope and direction and then i met someone who’s my current academic mentor. they helped me with my self-esteem, provided me reassurance when i needed it the most, believed in me when i didn’t believe in myself.

they had no reason to do it all for me, but they still did. they weren’t even my mentor back then. just a stranger i happened to stumble across at the right time.

they kind of make me have faith in the fact that there are good people out there. that there’s hope. that we will all be fine. even if we have to go through rough patches

I had a terrible headache, was really hungry and felt so weak. I didn't have the energy to cook, nor the patience for it. One of my friends came and handed me a plate of food. Y'all!!!! oh my gosh. (it happened from out of the blue, and I hadn't told her what was up)

@Hope When I was in 1st or 2nd grade, there was this one time where my parents didn't pick me up on time from afterschool. There was a teacher in the afterschool that looked after me until my parents came to pick me up. I was the only person left and she kept me company by playing board games with me and doing whatever I wanted to do. My parents came a whole hour late but she stayed with me the entire time which made me really happy. I'll never forget how patient and kind she was even though she had to stay late at work just to wait with me.
