Right now, I would describe my emotions as a winter evening.
The colors are deep blue and silver—quiet, reflective, and a little cold—but there are also warm golden lights glowing in the distance.
If I had to choose a holiday song, it would be Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. Not because everything is perfect, but because it carries a gentle hope that brighter days are ahead.
As for decorations, I feel like a single candle in a dark room. The light isn't overwhelming, but it's enough to keep the darkness from taking over completely.
A mixture of gratitude, longing, resilience, and hope.
