Im only 18 but I've been smoking since 11, and a daily smoker since 13. Im so sick of this, I've tried to quit several times, I tried nicotine patches, gum, the nicotine spray stuff. I read Allen carr's book, I tried switching tobacco out for herbs. I just keep failing, every cigarette I feel guilt and dread because I really dont want to smoke. Im so sick of smoking I hate it so much, if anyone has any advice it'd be really appreciated. Have a good day all.

Cold Turkey is what worked for me.

I started at the age of 11 or 12 and finally quit at age 31 or 32.

As is mentioned Cold Turkey was the only thing that worked for me. I tried a ton of ways, even placing small amounts of chewing tobacco between my baby toe, the skin is thin there and the nicotine absorbs into the blood stream. It just didn't work for me.

I gave up drinking for a bit as I always wanted a cigarette when I had a few drinks. Stopped hanging with others who did smoke.

It's been 30 years and I am still smoke free
