Hello everyone,

I'm Steven, and I'm an alcoholic. I've been drinking since I was 18. It's the only drug I've used. It got so bad that I was arrested twice in January 2024. I got my fourth DUI in January and have my first appearance on February 29. I've been living in sober living since February 7 and am attending AA meetings. I think I might be ready to admit that my life has become unmanageable. I'd like to hear from others.

Hey Steven! I'm an alcoholic as well. My DOC was alcohol and cocaine. I think it's amazing that you are ready to admit that your life has become unmanageable! I also think it's awesome that you are currently in a Sober Living! 💕 It took a near-death experience for me to finally realize that I had a problem and needed help. I'm almost 3 years sober now. June 8th of this year will make it 3 years.

You've got this Steven! 💪 Keep your head up. And remember, we all make mistakes. It's how we learn from them and move forward that matters. 💕 Don't let your past determine your future, create the future you want!

Much love,
Kayla 💕✨

@Steveguy Hey unfortunately I'm in the same boat. I got my 1st and hopefully only DUI on Feb 17th.. I have hurt my family and friends and although I don't know what the future holds I have learned my lesson. My appearance is 4/10/24. I'm terrified.

By admitting that you have a problem, you are taking the first step in getting better.  Getting sober is not easy, but it’s worth it.  I’ve been sober from alcohol since 12/31/98.
