The time when you know you were slipping but somehow overcame the urge, the time you didn't give in to the craving. Tell me how it went. Really need to know.

@seashell145

So speaking from experience, I was dealing with a bad episode of depression during my high school years and one night I hit my lowest point and I was thinking some really bad thoughts. I remember looking in the mirror and I did a choice right there to tell someone I trusted what was going on. I had isolated myself from everyone, my family and my friends to the point of "always pretending to be happy and fine". I decided to tell my dad how I was feeling and it felt like such a relief to finally be able to share my struggles with someone and it's the first step to overcoming such an episode.

If you don't have anyone that you can confide in, you can always browse the listening page here: https://www.7cups.com/BrowseListeners/ There are many compassionate and wonderful listeners who are here to support you in every way that they can.

So that's my recomendation for you, to not keep it inside but to tell someone you trust about how you are feeling.

I hope my answer was to any help!

Best wishes <3

You know, it's really hard to share things here because everyone has some sort of advice which is most times non applicable. It's unhelpful.
