Have you ever found any unconventional hacks helpful in managing your addiction?

Welcoming people in cups helps a lot to me personally with my addiction.

Listening to sleep talks to calm myself down after slip or relapse.

Working out.

Recogonize triggers, and distancing myself from them.

Journaling my thoughts down, setting steaks.

When you slip, relapse and feel like giving up. Remind yourself, why you started healing in the first place, what made you re-think your entire existence. Breaking a cycle is not easy.

But the fact that you keep trying, keep showing up, even when it feels like - shows how much this matters to you.

It's never gonna be a straight path, you will sometimes — a lot of times slip.

But what matters is what you do after that, how you choose to pick yourself up, how you hold yourself back in the middle of a slip, every time, every second you try to resist the urge counts, and adds up to your self confidence.

Be gentle with yourself even when it feels like you're faking it, gently try to remind yourself that this moment will pass. If it's possible, reach out, ground yourself, talk to a friend or brain dump how you feel somewhere safe.

It's okay to sit with feel how you feel after a slip or a relapse, This doesn't have to define you.

You're not alone. You're here, you're trying and even thinking of a change, that matters more than anything <3

You make a lot of good points fossilfellow, especially sitting with your feelings. I find that is about the most difficult thing to do, but once you stop turning away you start to really understand your problem better.

I would also recommend Kundalini yoga
