Sister back in hospital
After using ice and weed for many years. She recently got on medication and stopped using ice and weed. Then had a break up, got hold of ice (crystal meth) and is now back in hospital after threatening to kill herself and painting psychotic stuff on her apartment walls. I'm new to this app. I want to have a place I can talk about this without traumatizing people. I know she is scared and traumatized going back to hospital, I wish I could help her but she has to help herself. I get angry at people I love because I'm hurting.

Hey there. Welcome to the community. We are here for you. I know how it can be dealing with family members who are going through addiction and you're right, in order for us to be able to help them, they have to be willing to get help themselves. I hope that your sister recovers and gets the help she needs while she's in the hospital.
