Does Anybody Know What This Is?

So uhh I'm pretty sure I've never had a panic attack, but I did want to know if anybody with anxiety could relate to this or clear something up for me?

Slight trigger warning I guess? I don't want anybody who isn't feeling mentally great to stumble on this cause it might dampen your day a bit more ;v;

But a lot of the time when my stress hits an all time high, I'll struggle to think clearly or say words, and I will not be able to stop crying. And when I think I'm fine again, I'll relive whatever it was that caused me stress in the first place, or think again about what I did that made me feel anxious, and then I'll start crying?

It's usually me with people pleaser problems, like how I once missed a tutor session and felt really bad for my mom who had to pay for it anyway, and then after, my dad helped me get a late lunch set up, and I started crying again when he gave me a hug? Like as if I didn't feel like I deserved it or something, I don't really know, which is why I ask. A lot of my anxiety usually comes from social situations or my people pleaser issues, so I feel really bad when I disappoint people ;v;

@CritterBones Being unable to think clearly or speak, combined with crying, seems unusual, although I am not an expert. Identifying people pleaser problems does seem like it could be significant. I wonder if you have ever discussed these things with a professional, like maybe a psychologist or a therapist?

@RarelyCharlie I really want to, but sadly my mom's promises of getting me to a therapist have been empty xD

@CritterBones Yes, that's very sad. Empty promises are no use to you at all. Do you keep a record of the episodes, in a diary perhaps, so that you can look back and see whether the problem is getting better or worse?

@RarelyCharlie Oh! That's actually a really good idea :0

I'll try to do that from now on, especially considering I'm not really sure what to use for note line books lol

True people pleasers........... i have known have reached points of crying when they think ........they have failed or let someone down. it is self punishment and takes time to overcome .......but finding ways to back off from people pleasing will really help.

It is easy to relive the item and fret over what you could have done to remedy the situation. Try to view it differently and forgive yourself and let it go.
