I'm feel easily upset and anxious these days because I fear abandonment. Is there a way to help feeling this way because I feel bad.

Hey @considerateTurtle5368, nice to meet you. It's okay to feel anxious and upset about being abandoned.

Did something happen recently that's making you feel more worried about it, or perhaps something bothering you?

Our experiences have a way to turn up for us disguised as our fears and triggers. We can always take our time to feel through the feelings and be gentle when we do! ❤

When we fear of abandonment, that could makes us feel anxious and upset. Sounds like you are having a hard time with the situation. Have you tried communicating with the person/persons who makes you feel that way? I think getting a clarity and being open about the situation could help you out. Though I'm not aware of the situation here. Please feel free to talk to a listener or someone you feel comfortable with. I hope you feel better.

I'm sorry that you're feeling this way. Fear of abandonment is completely natural but it can be extremely overwhelming sometimes. Please know that you're not alone in this and it's very natural to behave in a way that minimises the emotional pain that one may experience in the future. Low self esteem and self confidence are challanges that come along abandonment issues.

Does some event triggers this fear of yours? Also do you find yourself feeling this way in a particular kind of situation?

There are healthy coping strategies to overcome it. Identifying the cause of your anxiety might be the first step. Please remember to be kind to yourself while rebuilding your self esteem.
