Anxiety it's a commun feeling which comes hand in hand with worries. Usually it's a normal response of the body, but sometimes it can affect the quality of our life. Here are some ways to help maneging anxiety.

1.Breathing exercices

Try to count to 10, then Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for another 4 seconds and exhale for 4 seconds. Repeat this process a few times.

2. Meditation

Medito is a free app which helps with meditation and better sleep

3.Accept and label your emotions. Do not be afraid of your amxiety, tell yourself that you are feeling anxious and that it's alright.

4.If you struggle with intrusive thoughts, imagine that they are passing like clouds in the sky. Don't try to ignore them, this will make it even harder to escape from them.

5. Set a time for you worries and axiety. For example, tell yourself that right now it s not the right moment for anxiety and set a time for worrying.

6. Try calming acivities

For example, drawing something, diamond painting or even listening to music.

7. Take a walk in nature, go to a picnic or ride a bike for half an hour.

8. Try writing on a page calming thoughts or answers to your intrusive thoughts so if they come later you will be able to reduce the anxiety they bring.

@Dianalalala

There are all valid actions that can help with anxiety.

For me, number 3 was most useful. First acknowledging the anxiety took away its power. Then acknowledging the anger and fears that were behind it.

Many of the other techniques didn't really work for me until I'd accepted the anger I was suppressing. It's really hard to do calming stuff, when a small part of you is boiling inside.

Which one did you find most useful?

@Clio9876 Hi! I found most useful labeling my emotions. Telling myself that anxiety is normal and that i can t hurt or control me.
