@Remina

it has been really tough for me as it has started affecting my physical health too.

i remember once i had a really bad panic attack at night and the next morning i woke up i felt lightheaded and fell unconscious. luckily my parents were there to help me cuz i did hit my head pretty hard on the ground.

my dad thought i had a stroke or smtg lol and scolded me saying i should be taking care of my health more.

@ipoopcats

That sounds scary! I am sorry to hear that it has affected your physical health. I am glad your parents were there for you. It sounds like you have concerned parents so that's good! How often do you struggle with this?

@Remina

journaling really helped me a lot. i also try to preoccupy myself with things i enjoy doing to help distract myself from being overly anxious

That sounds like such a scary experience, and I’m really sorry you had to go through that. Panic attacks can take a huge toll, not just emotionally but physically too. It must have been overwhelming to wake up feeling so lightheaded and then actually pass out. I can understand why your dad was so worried, even if his reaction came across as scolding. Sometimes, when people care about us, their concern can come out in unexpected ways.

Have you been able to talk to anyone about what you’re going through? You don’t have to go through this alone, and your health—both mental and physical—matters. If you ever need to vent or just have someone listen, I’m here for you.
