I am really glad you came here to talk about this. Many people feel anxious during a major life change like starting college. This Hang in there!

Not sure what kind of school you are going to, but here are some tips that can help wherever you go.

Do you know what the biggest predictor of success is in the first year of college? It's how connected you feel to other people on campus.  Here's three things you can do to help:

* A strong friend group is a great place to start. If your school has social activities for new students, try to go to them, and meet other students.

* Many schools have advisors who specialize in new students. These advisors know what you are going through and can help you with the transition and point you towards tutoring programs and other resources if you are struggling.

* A campus job is a good idea. Students who work about 10 hours a week have higher GPAs and graduation rates than students who don't work at all. What I like about them is you will often meet other students friendly staff who can help you feel more connected.

Lastly, all those lectures about study habits and time management are true. You don't have to study 24/7/365, but you do need to keep track of your assignments and due dates, and get the work done on time. You want to stay on top of email and whatever course management software (like CANVAS) that your school uses. Also some faculty will give assignments in class, so you want to be on the lookout for that. This is another place where a friend group helps.

If you feel like your anxiety is more than you can handle, talk to the counselling center, your advisor, or come back here.

Hello there ..and congratulations on being in college

sincerely speaking I understand how you are feeling, always thinking about how to always have good grades, too the class and all even though you always scape through it you are often scared about what if you don't pass and I know this can pretty be overwhelming

@carefulEast6708 has really said a lot which I know will help better so am just going to add

Why don't we stop thinking about the " what if" and change it to like I can do this , I can make it you get and just be consistent, don't try to overwork yourself, start early and you see the results

And also you can try out the 7cups anxiety measures and course , it sure really helps a lot

see ya later and take care of yourself 🤗 😊
