Acceptance of Change

Change is hard. Even when it’s expected, it can still feel overwhelming. And when it’s sudden or unwanted, it can shake everything you thought was stable.

But here’s something I’ve been learning: acceptance doesn’t mean you’re okay with everything that’s happening....it just means you’re willing to stop fighting what is. It’s saying, “This is where I am right now, and I’ll figure it out from here.”

It’s okay to feel lost. It’s okay to grieve what was. And it’s also okay to not have all the answers yet. Change is uncomfortable, but it often brings growth in ways we don’t see right away.

If you’re in a transition right now, I see you. You’re not alone. You’re allowed to take it one small step at a time.

Let’s reflect:
🌿What change are you learning to accept right now?
🌿 What’s helping you stay grounded through it?

Here if anyone wants to share or talk. Sending warmth your way.

Such a well thought out, brilliantly expressed message and I appreciate the discussion prompts too! 💛

Change can indeed feel scary and uncomfortable even if it is for the greater good!

🌿What change are you learning to accept right now?

Changes about some of the unhelpful beliefs I’ve held for myself and to unlearn them!

🌿 What’s helping you stay grounded through it?

My belief in self and faith in the universal forces beyond my human-power or conscious!

How about you?

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response....I really loved what you shared — unlearning old beliefs is such deep, courageous work. It’s not easy to challenge the narratives we’ve lived with for so long, but it’s so powerful when we start to shift them.

Your grounding practice is beautiful — that mix of self-trust and surrender to something greater can bring so much peace in uncertain times.

As for me, I’m learning to accept that healing and growth don’t always look the way I imagined. Slower, messier, but still meaningful. What’s helping me is staying present and being gentle with myself through it. Grateful for this conversation.

This touches me. Thank you!! I needed to hear this. My anxiety is absolutely full throttle right now. Im struggling in a failing marriage and the joys that it brings. Im learning its anxiety and that stuff sucks bad. Im trying to accept that a divorce is probably in the future and its hard. We love one another very much but its the actions or lack there of that killed our marriage. I've been giving up now for a few years and its time and its hard.

Im learning change is OK. God wants us in healthy marriages that lift us. Im struggling with the "for better or worse" as I dont take my vows lightly. Im very conflicted.

The only thing keeping me together right now is God and knowing I can handle anything. It's only anxiety that is making me afraid.

Your honesty truly moved me. I can feel the weight of everything you're carrying, and yet the strength in your words is so real.
It’s okay to be conflicted letting go of something you’ve poured love into is never simple.
Your faith, your awareness, your heart they’re guiding you through even this. And just like you said, anxiety can feel huge... but you are bigger than it.
Sending you strength, and holding space for your journey.

One idea to cope with change is to be excited about a new opportunity for growth and that can help to reframe your anxious thoughts to something positive. 😊

Yes, I agree 😊 Reframing anxiety into curiosity or growth can be powerful. Some days it’s hard, but it’s a reminder that change can hold possibilities too. Thanks for adding this.
