Anxiety Self Management
What is some advice you have learned over the years that has been critical to you into today? It can be anything really and I would love to hear y'all opinions on this! Also, what would you recommend in terms of building up motivation because I find myself stuck at times with having the urge to do something?
On managing anxiety - one of the key things i learnt was to recognise the anxious-making thought, lightly 'touch' it and then let it go - and focus on something else - breathing, walking etc. It's hard to start with but then it starts to come along naturally.

Some really great advice for managing anxiety is that it's important to have faith in the process. Trust that where you are is where you are supposed to be, and that the effort that you are putting into gaining power over anxiety is going to lead you to where you want to be. The keys to managing anxiety lies in developing your ability to have faith and trust in yourself, in others, and in the world. Developing that cognitive framework is very important for overcoming both trait and state anxiety.
