That is very positive. I like that. I had been dealing with so much problems in my life right now that i got angry at God because I had been praying for so long. The problems got piled up to the point that I want to give up on life itself.
@Jewelmoon17 first off, don’t give up, you got this. second, God is most likely letting the enemy piling these problems on you. what i suggest you do (i say suggest cause you don’t have to) is have more faith in God. He loves you so much and He wants you to learn from this. God bless you.

@MercivalGreenthumb of course i did. the old testament talks about the fall of man, which if you read it, you would know. After Adam and Eve was Cain and Abel and Cain was the one who made the choice to attack Abel. in Genesis chapter 6, it talks about how God regretted making man because of all the evil they were doing, so that’s when the story of Noah’s Ark comes. after the flood, God promised Noah and the world that He will never flood the earth again. in Exodus, it talks about the story of Moses and the 10 commandments. if you’re talking about the punishments that God had gave to the world, it was because of the wickedness that everybody was doing was just terrible. God gave us free will to do bad or good and most people still chose to do bad. it’s not fair that you get to tell me that i don’t know what i’m talking about when i do. God is all-loving and merciful and it’s mankind that is doing the evil, not God.

I'm talking about what a vindictive and self-righteous monster your so-called god is. Punishing "idolatry", making people commit a genocide of "non-believers", psychologically torturing Job, thou shalt not kill (unless it suits my selfish interest)...
I hope you one day realize all of this is wild nonsense, for your sake. It's difficult to have hope for people as indoctrinated as you are however.
@MercivalGreenthumb God punishes people who worship another god because He is the one and true God. for Job, God allowed Satan to test him if He would still love and trust God. deaths are natural and suffering is natural especially when one loves God. for the g*nocide part, i’m not sure which you meant so i’m assuming you’re talking about with the israelites and canaanites since you said “genocide of non believers.” the canaanites killed the israelites because they didn’t believe in their god therefore God wanted to help His people for that. if God didn’t order it, the canaanites would continue doing their human sacrifices and such which is why He punished them. it was for the unrighteousness the canaanites were doing towards other people and God.
i’m glad that you are hoping the “best” for me, but i assure you, i will be fine especially since i know with my personal experience that God is real. God bless.
I'm right there with you. Yes, I believe he will. If God let us be raped, then he knew how strong we were. Maybe we needed the lesson that we are not all-powerful. Maybe we needed a reminder that we are only flesh, that others can damage our flesh, but that God can redeem our spirit. We were hurt, damaged, scarred, but we can still become ourselves and we are worthy of the effort.

to anyone reading this: God loves you so so much. He was willing to sacrifice Himself for you. He also said “Whoever wishes to follow Me must deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.” This means you also have to suffer just as Jesus did on the cross if you want to believe in Him. don’t let the enemy win you over, have faith in Jesus. (i’m not forcing btw im just saying this to anyone who needs it). God bless
