Anxiety and weight loss

Whenever I get super anxious I can go days with minimal eating. I tend to find it extremely difficult to eat during these periods of time. I often get nauseous and constantly feel sick. I’ve finally gained back my appetite thank God. However, my weight is still super low. I constantly get comments from others stating how skinny I am and people asking if ive been eating. It really pisses me off when people comment abt how skinny I am. I especially find it annoying when they say they wish they could be as skinny as me. Just because you are not calling me fat it is still body shaming.

@Clyde911 Welcome to 7Cups Clyde. Thank you for reaching out and opening up with us. I am sorry to hear  you have been experiencing anxiety that has led to difficulties with eating and feeling weighed down by comments from others. I get that you are struggling with both internal pressures related to your weight and external ones from other people's remarks. How do you respond to such comments?

It's sad to hear this, to be honest. You first need to figure out why you're anxious. Honestly, it could be due to childhood trauma. I read about it here. My parents divorced and it affected me. Now I'm stressed and I'm really stressed out. I'm thinking about seeing a psychologist who should definitely help me. I wish you luck and overcome your anxiety.
