Anxiety has become debilitating. Can anyone else relate? Thanks.
I just turned 48 and have had three nervous breakdowns. Two I went inpatient for. I feel like I'm having my fourth. I can't seem to shake the anxiety and depression. I'm missing work, I may even get fired, I'm crying all of the time, and completely outside of myself. I'm always thinking the worst. I feel so bad for my wife that has to deal with this. I'm on Effexor, Vrylar, and Valium. I also have a therapist. Is anyone else dealing with something similar? I don't want to go inpatient again. Thanks all.
Has your therapist discussed different meds? And I wonder if group therapy might also help in addition to your regular sessions.
I don’t mean to pry and you don’t have to say, but do you know what is the underlying cause for your anxiety and emotional distress?
