Anxious in my Relationship
Hey everyone, haven’t been on this forum for a while, but I have to get this off my chest.
I have had a lot of anxiety related to my current relationship. I’m in probably the healthiest relationship I’ve ever been in for the past 6-ish months, but every time there is a conflict and my partner asks for some space, I get riddled with anxiety and ruminate to no end.
Every day I ruminate about the state of the relationship, feeling like I need to analyze every single thing to get ahead of a potential break up. I’ve been trying to just accept that if we do break up, there’s nothing I can do about it. I’ve been struggling with accepting that I’m with him today and I can’t guarantee him being in my future.
I wish I could just enjoy my moments with him while they’re happening, but I’m stuck constantly worried about the future. Has anyone else struggled with this?

Does it feel like you are missing out on right now worried about what if's?
No one has a guarantee that their current partner will be their future one. We kid ourselves that all stays the same. living in the now .....often has less anxiety. some people just want some space in any disagreement it is not a break up or the end and if it becomes that being anxious about it will not prevent that.
