You have a set of keys from your past, but don't assume they will fit every lock. How often do we find ourselves trying to unlock the future with tools from our past?
We apply lessons from old relationships to new ones, expecting different results. We approach fresh challenges, with the same mindset that got us stuck in the first place.
Life doesn't work that way. Each new phase, each new opportunity, requires a new approach. It's like trying to start your car with your house key, it just won't work. No matter how hard you try.
Your past may have shaped you and thought you valuable lessons, but they're not always the right tools for your future.
You must be bold enough to try new methods, to think in new ways. Every hurdle is an opportunity to add a new tool to your kit. Every locked door is an invitation to find a new key. Every obstacle is a chance to develop a new skill.
Problems evolve, so why shouldn't your problem solving skills? Release your grip on the familiar. Be open to the future with all its new locks and new possibilities.
