Doubting Your Outcomes
Do we have “stages” where we can’t stand things anymore?
Situations, jobs, or anything else? My “poker face” has been slipping here recently. I hate that.
Stages
1.) You know what whatever “happens” happens.
2.) I feel like it might change. (But have major doubts. Repeatedly if not worse things happen.)
3.) You know what whatever “happens” I don’t care anymore. (But you do and don’t care at the same time.)
4.) I care but I can’t do anything.
5.) I feel like crying I care too much help!
6.) Just crying.
I can’t cry like a baby mainly because I’m at work. I probably won’t cry when I get home. So I’ll probably just keep holding this in.
@Muse4apoem I feel you, totally relatable and normal. I tend to not care about it but also care about it at the same time. This feeling is irritating and it leads to me overthinking. I can't tell you for sure how to change it completely but I can tell you how my experience lead. In the end, I couldn't NOT care. My mind was showing all the possible outcomes of what it would lead if I didn't care and it scared me. After caring everything was normal. I don't know about you but hope everything turned out to be alright!
@Muse4apoem
I agree with how you have written this down the stages of
what will happen will happen ...... then the feeling the hop that a change is coming but doe s not really happen ,,,, the trying to act like you do not care ect,
I used to go round and round throw these stages until i decided............ when in stage of anticipation of change ... I help it along....... and make small changes for myself ....... small put off or what if things i want to do.............generally stops the later over caring and depressed crying phase.
