Hey,

So I’m just reaching out to anyone to listen or to respond. I don’t know why but I’m really scared about dying and about the earth dying and being there when that happens like I can talk about it or think about it, it makes me sick and like so scared, to my bones, I just feel like I need some reassurance or even like some warm words. I honestly feel like I’m going to cry 🥺. I’m so scared. Sorry.

The unknown can be a very scary thing. And death is the biggest unknown for us. What comes next? Some people think everything comes next and others say there’s nothing after this.

I’m definitely someone who believes that there is more based on the years I’ve lived and the experiences I’ve had. When I was much younger death scared the *** out of me. Now that I’m in my 50s, while I don’t like it, I’m more understanding of it and less scared. I think the older you get the more your relationship so to speak with death changes.

Kind of makes me think of the story of the three brothers in Harry Potter And the one with the invisibility cloak hid from death until he was much older and then greeted him with kindness.

Please say more if you wish. I have meditated on death where you get cold and slow down your heart rate to stir the feeling more sharply.

Tibetan buddhists value meditation on death as a way to live better.

Some right down lists of things that they need to do most, ie if i was in an accident i would regret not doing these things most.

4-6 breathing can help calm you can get an app that allows adjustment of timing so its comfortable when very anxious 4-6 is to long. Breathe relax and focus is my favourite.
