Feeling Worthless in marriage
Have you ever cared about someone to the core and still felt so invalued and worthless? That you question your existence
@surabhi1564
I'm so sorry you are giving so much energy and not giving the sane back, that's heartbreaking, you are definitely not worthless 💛
Thanks for your support 🫂
@surabhi1564
A pleasure 💜
Yes that's happening to me right now . And the fact is that nothing's wrong with us it's them . And a more hurting thing is that no matter what you do for them they're not gonna change they'll just recieve and give you nothing except feeling of worthlessness in return .
Maybe my words won't help you but I just wanted to tell you that I'm going through the same thing and in my case , I'm not married and I want to end the relationship with him .
I camt even end ir. ð¥º
When you've a problem you can do four things about it .
Solve the problem if you can change the situation , take practical steps to fix it .
Accept the problem if you can't change it and make peace with it and adjust rather than fighting reality
Leave the problem - remove yourself from the situation if it's not worth staying in
Stay and suffer . Do nothing and continue to feel distressed .
These are solutions that apply on all kind of problems . You choose what suits you

And I'm the 4th one sadly.
If you can't be the 1st and 3rd . Try to be the 2nd . Make peace with your problems . And yes it works for me .
I'm an overthinker . Like mostly in these kind of situations I overthink and repeat the things inside my mind completely draining my energy and staying hopeless and exhausted while being in that loop and never able to get out of it. I can't accept the problem, sometimes the problem is unsolvable and I still waste my time and energy cuz I don't know and don't like adjust with the situation I don't like. I'm short, I'm very immature person.
No you're not immature . I've been in this same loop but I came out of it (somewhat) with time and practice . I knew I was stuck and I needed to change that and next time wanted to choose a different path and with practice and time you'll become able to make peace with your problems and you'll be a calmer person than you're now .
I hope you come out of it soon 🫂❤️ . Virtual hug 🫂
And the thing about you don't want to and don't like to make peace with it . You need to accept the realities without fighting with them . In this world not everything goes exactly as we wanted them to be and we need to accept it without fighting it only then we'll get mental peace .

Oh dear ! Why do you feel that way ? Is it because of your partner's actions?

Im really sorry you’ve been carrying this. Just out of curiosity, has your partner made you feel worthless, or have they made you question your own worth? That might sound similar, but are very different. Relationships should leva you question your existence. You deserve to feel valued simply for being yourself.
Good evening friends,
I couldn't help but be attracted to this thread because I have, until recently, been in the same situation. In the movie "Dune" there's a line, ""Knowing where the trap is—that's the first step in evading it".
I took this saying and I sat down with my wife of 19 years and we discussed the matter, face to face and honestly. The situation, per se, has been resolved, not to the point of happiness for all BUT now we both understand how each other is feeling and we are able to adjust and accept thus removing the stress and anxiety. That is a major step in the right direction.
Reg'ds,
D.
Yes so many times
@surabhi1564 I hope you don't mind but I have chosen to follow this thread because I am in the middle of something similar. Perhaps, together, we might be able to find some sort of solution.
You say, in one of your messages, "I can't even end it." In your first message you say that you care greatly for someone who is making you feel invaluable and worthless. May I ask why you can't end it? Why you can't make the most obvious, impactful and meaningful change to get yourself free of your situation?
Hoping to help,
D.
