feel like people are achieving their greatest achievements, while I'm just trying to breathe and feel... Maybe that's an achievement too..

@LaylaCorsela It is<3 You're here, you're holding on. There’s undeniable strength in that, in getting through the day with a heart that feels too heavy to carry. Existing in a world where comparison feels so crushing. Achievement isn't always about the beautiful things or those big wins. It can look like barely getting out of bed, just being here even when life feels lost in numb silence<3

@LaylaCorsela It most definitely is an achievement.

To take steps and just breathe when you're uncertain and struggling and it's hard is inspirational. It's going against the logic of your own mind.

I'd say it's a lot easier to just follow rules of convention than to persevere in the face of hardship. Not saying people shouldn't be proud of "success", but I really think the greatest achievement is driving the broken self.

I've achieved very few conventional things in my life. I withdrew from high school, only completed one year of university, and barely worked a day in my life as my problems kept me down.

I did, however, come to understand myself and gained perspective after almost losing it all. It triggered a happiness I've never known, having been buried under depression my whole life. I'll never be prouder of anything more than that, even if I go to space or win a nobel prize.

So just keep breathing <3

I feel that, too. Like everyone else is happy, and has it all together, and is living their best life and I’m just trying to wake up not anxious.

I know that’s not the case, but that’s just how it feels. We all believe that everyone else is great and we aren’t, when in fact, so many people are suffering, but they are just suffering in silence and don’t have anyone to talk to.
