It’s gotten bad again.

I understand setbacks are pretty normal. But I’m back in the same kind of slump again. Freaking out almost every day. I believe lavender essential oil has been helping me, not too sure. And as I can’t afford therapy, I’m trying to take steps to do this on my own to the best of my ability. I wonder if it’s ever worked for anyone.

@lovingAvocado4469 Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you're going through a tough time, but it's great that you're actively seeking ways to cope and improve your well-being. Setbacks can happen to anyone, and it's important to acknowledge your efforts.

Lavender essential oil can be soothing for some people, and if you feel it's helping you, that's a positive step in self-care.

You might want to explore additional self-help strategies, such as relaxation exercises like deep breathing, meditation, or progressive muscle relaxation, which can help manage anxiety. Regular exercise can have a very positive impact on your mental well-being, even short walks or home workouts can make a difference. Writing down your thoughts and feelings can also be therapeutic. It can help you identify patterns and triggers, which can significantly aid in managing your anxiety.

It's unfortunate that therapy isn't currently accessible for you due to financial constraints. Still, you're demonstrating resilience and resourcefulness by seeking alternative methods to improve your well-being. Many individuals have found self-help strategies to be beneficial, and it's worth trying various approaches to see what works best for you.

Please continue to take good care of yourself, and remember that you're not alone in your journey. If you ever need someone to talk to or share your experiences with, I'm here to listen and support you 💚

@lovingAvocado4469

It must be hard for you! Same for me I can't afford a therapy, but I might try if my conditions were to get worse.

The only thing I can recommend is to try again! And I hope that you get the financial aid for your recovery!

Take good care!

You're in the right place - i.e. this website - there's lots of resources on here which you should absolutely explore.  Setbacks are, as we all know, normal.  Just got to keep working at it!
