Hi, everyone! I am a teen who's looking for a friend. Recently I've been struggling to find a single friend because I am always finding out they are toxic or gossiping about everyone. I just wanna know how it feels like to have a friend who is there for you and cares about you).

I used to feel that a lot a year or two ago. I used to have only friends around that wouldn't be friendly at all. They seemed friendly at first, but the more I got to know them the less they knew of me, because they didn't want to talk about anyone but themselves, and never hanged out with me or tried to include me when they were with their own friends. Multiple times I was forgotten until the end of the day when they came over to say hi. I don't get contact from them unless I text first, and then I have to force them to talk by asking questions. I'm 18 now, and I have been trying my best to maintain less friends, those few, close connections of unconditional loyalty and trust.
