Overcoming Anxiety
In about 5 minutes, I'm about to travel 6 hours to a different country and attend a work event tomorrow. As some of you already know, I suffer from extreme social and general anxiety as well as fear of going outside. I have no words to express my level of anxiety and stress. There are many times when I have even felt like I was going to throw up. I also felt like crying in some moments because I struggled to contain my emotions.
However, this is not a lament. Instead, I will come back to this when I have returned in 2 days time on my warm bed enveloped by my santuary of a room, and see what I had felt before I left and how I overcame this mountain of a task. Hopefully this will also help some of you overcome your anxieties and fears.

I love your perspective of when you return. Great job challenging the negative thoughts so proud of you in so many ways!!!! ❤️ see you when you get back!!!!
Thanks for all of your support! I greatly appreciate it! Well here I am, back from the event and it was actually pretty amazing. I am so happy to overcome this fear of mine. In fact, once I was there, I took a moment to take in the moment, be present, observe others, and realise that this isn't so bad. Most of our fears lives in our minds. Not that we shouldn't have them, they can help us. But the important thing is to know that it's ok if fear lives within us, but it's not ok to live in fear.
I hope you all can conquer your fears. You're stronger than you think! 💪
