Hi I'm new on here. I suffer from chronic anxiety disorder, overthinking, chronic stress, & poor sleep. I feel so alone even in a room full of people. I'm always in my head,  in my thoughts, negative thoughts come and I try to cast them out by staying as positive as I can. Its so hard to fake being okay

@tiredoftrying30021 I'm just over alot of things. I have really bad health anxiety as well. Every time I go to the doctor my Blood pressure is high. But at home its normal. It makes me feel like a failure when I get high readings because I eat as healthy as I can. Avoid fast food, watch my sodium intake, rarely eat carbs. It's overwhelming.

I struggle with the anxiety, and what makes me grounded is that journaling my thoughts and leaving into God's hands. And remember most of our anxious thoughts will never occur. Try to accept the situation than fighting it with many possibilities because no matter what, what has to happen will happen and be brave to deal with that.

Uncertainty is indicative of growth.

I have to fake being okay everyday that I am at work.  Cause I don't want people gossiping and talking behind my back.  I feel the same. Can't sleep complete 8 hours at night.  It's hard to even try to fall asleep.  I am always thinking about my problems. What the future will become of my life?  My fears, all of these that are weighing me down.  Sadly a family member adds more anxiety to my life. :(

I'm suffering the same. But I am also very alone in reality. As I am in a foreign country and have little to no communication.

Coming here made me feel millions of times worse. Always felt alone. Now surrounded by language barriers and having absolutely nobody.

I am here if you'd like to talk.

I'm also new on here and as someone who also struggles with overthinking, I think I can relate. I have a big fear of abandonment so when I get attached to someone I get very paranoid and overthink everything they say and do. I can tell they get annoyed with me for always questioning them and needing reassurance so sometimes I pretend that I'm fine even when I'm not. I feel crazy.

I understand how you feel so well. I am trying to figure out how to be in The moment more more. It is very hard.

I also suffer from all those things. The best advice I can give you is to remember that fear is a liar and anxiety is a manifestation of fear. Find a few people you can be totally real with and use them to check yourself. I have two friends at work who I can walk into the room and say "Are you sure you want to eat lunch with me today? Anxiety is high." And they will embrace me and tell me yes they want to be with me- works every time. I find being honest about my anxiety helps a lot. I teach 3 graders and my kids are so sweet- when they see me struggling with my anxiety they all line up to give me hugs. Makes me cry a little and then we can move on! It's a hard road but I am here to tell you that if you share the burden it won't take long before you don't need to "fake" being ok. You ARE ok, just the way you are and with good friends you will soon feel it!

@KranialAktivity

Hey there, welcome! It takes courage to share what you're going through, and it's awesome that you're reaching out for support. Dealing with chronic anxiety, stress, and poor sleep can be really tough, but remember, you're not alone in this. It's okay not to be okay all the time, and being open about your struggles is a big step in the right direction. Just know that there are people here who understand and are rooting for you. Keep being kind to yourself, and take things one step at a time. You've got this!
