@anfal9 Hey there. I'm not sure of the answer to your question, but I wanted to ask you a question. Have you tried exploring your reason for people pleasing? It's a great thing that you are self-aware of your doing and seeking to work on this. Are you aware that it is ok to say "no" and not feel bad? Do you know that it's ok to set boundaries and choose yourself? Do you know it's ok to put yourself, wants, needs, and desires first sometimes? Don't you know how valuable of a person you are? Like I said, I don't know the answer to your question. But perhaps you can take small steps to value yourself and pick yourself. Set boundaries and stick to them. You never have to explain yourself or your reason for doing something. I hope you are able to work on this comfortably. Take care! Xoxo.

@anfal9

Your answer is one step at a time...

The first step is saying NO to a request, or you are unable at the time to do something for someone else when they need it.   Sounds easy right, it isn't always easy.

       Each time you say no and do not try to make up for saying no it becomes easier....    You will no longer feel the need to make excuses or reasons you said NO.

 You will get stronger in standing up for yourself, but it takes practice.
