Silent panic attack

I discovered today that I have sometimes silent panic attacks and it scares me a little, because I didn't never take my social phobia seriously.

I thought a panic attack wasn't a panic attack if there wasn't hyperventilation.

Then now I have panic attack, derealization - depersonalization, and all others symptoms of social phobia...

@justauser786 It sounds like you have been experiencing a range of symptoms related to social phobia, Just. These can be very distressing and can impact your daily life. Silent panic attacks can be particularly challenging, as they can be difficult to recognize and may not always be obvious to others.

@justauser786

im so glad that you identified your panic attacks.  They can be so difficult to cope with.  You definitely don’t have to be hyperventilating to have a panic attack.  Anxiety can show up in so many different ways.  What have you found that is helpful with your panic attacks?

@justauser78

you definitely don’t have to manage your panic attacks alone:  there are so many great people here.
